| Are you an Opportunist or a Strategist? |

There is nothing right or worng here, but it's worthwhile reflecting on it. Do you find yourself constantly on the lookout for the next deal you can make? Are you forever seeking the sale, the project, the relationship that will set you up? If so chances are you are an opportunistic person. Opportunists criteria for selecting things to pursue, relationships to build, tasks to complete is based around ... can I make a buck out of this ... or what's the easiest way of making a buck right now? That may sound a bit "out on a limb" for you but in essence that's what opportunists are all about. A strategist has a clear vision of what they want their business and life to become. Strategists have a focus on the outcome of their efforts when opportunity comes knocking. They assess these opportunities and gauge as to whether they "fit" with their long terms strategy. If not it's thanks but no thanks. My Mastermind group recently spent some time discussing and dissecting the concept of ... distractions disguised as opportunities.
Which are you .. opportunist or strategist? Do you know why? And what are you going to do about it?
