| The Laws of Lifetime Growth | ![]() |
| When the authors of those books cite their experiences as consultants to Fortune 500 companies and their CEOs, I can't relate. This book was different. In their clear, helpful, and powerful book, authors Sullivan and Nomura impart useful wisdom, while using examples about real people I can relate to, with every day stories. It was a quick, easy read, and I've already shared it with a bunch of friends, and put into effect several of the book's excellent suggestions. Some of the laws urge us to “Always Make Your Contribution Bigger Than Your Reward” or “Always Make your Questions Bigger Than Your Answers,” and I found these brief lessons powerful, more-so than many of the more detailed “laws” and “steps” put forth in other personal-growth books. Making the decision to grow as a person in all areas of life is the first commitment required by the authors, who then lead you on a journey of going beyond the comfort zone to greatness. One of the most profound lessons comes in the form of a simple question, which asks that we focus on what we need to become in order to achieve the outcomes we want in life.
