| Leadership and Ego | ![]() |

I watched in awe at the final of the Olympic 100 Meters Sprint Final. The ease at which Usain Bolt left behind the other competitors was unbelievable. What was also unbelievable, well may be not, was that his ego got in the way of this moment to demonstrate true leadership. What could have occurred if he completed the race as he began ... at full speed? Yes he won the Gold Medal and created a new World Record but to say "he gave his all" would not be an honest description of how he ran. My Observation: As a leader, stay focused on the task at hand don't let your ego get in the way of expressing your full potential and creating something brilliant. |
