A tree and a weed may look rather similar when they first begin to grow.

The weed may even spring up taller and faster, causing you to assume that it is the more effective of the two plants.

The questions we need to consider include ...

• What will they both eventually grow into?
• How long will they last?
• How much will they produce?

While we all obviously would like to see quick results in order to meet our immediate needs, it's obviously not to our benefit to seek these at the expense of more viable long-term solution.
