Have you ever said that, thought that or heard someone else say that?

Do you really hate change or is it something that we tell ourselves, when we don't like the change that we are experiencing?

When working with business owners and their staff ... "I hate change" and "changing is so hard", are common comments.

But is change all that hard?

Have you ...

• Purchased an iPhone?
• Made a text message?
• Sent an email?
• Shifted home, across state or country?
• Got married?
• Had a child?

If you are one of those people who talks and thinks negatively about change, and yet answered yes to those questions, I'm wondering ... why the discordance between your thoughts and actions?

When faced with change our heart says ... this is all too scary
When faced with change our head says ... I'd better think on this I need to get this correct

Your Gut is the place where you “just know.”

So where does this knowledge come from?

Some of it might be from past experience some of it could come from subtle perceptions but, for the most part your Gut Knowingness is innate.

There isn’t anything magical or mystical about accessing your Gut for guidance; it just takes recognizing the sensation of it and consistently acting on it.

How do I listen to my gut?

An example may be, if you’re in a quandary over a personal decision, write out the many questions that you’re asking yourself and others. Then ask yourself “What do I want to happen?” and, “What do I not want to have happen?”

This will give your head and your heart time to become emotional and think on things. And it will give time for your gut instinct to have its say.

Oh and those with children who claim to dislike change ...
having a child is a really stupid decision.
