| Here's a brief bio for those who would like to know a little more about me. I believe that creating mutual trust and respect is more important than presenting credentials and bragging about past gigs I have assisted other clients, you don't know, on projects that are irrelevant to you. At the same time you would obviously still like to know something. The majority of my business life has been involved in personal and family related business investments, which I operate in conjunction with my work in supporting others via directedfocus.
My business life began at 19 when I set up a labour hire business servicing farming businesses and since then I've been involved in a wide range of businesses covering agriculture and agribusiness, magazine and book publishing, multimedia and environmental services. I became involved in the computer hardware and software sales and service following client demand as there was inadequate skills and support. This lead to my investing in a business management software development project with an overseas University based project. Following approaches from international investors I establised an agribusiness investment trust whcih managed rural properties in three states. That business also valued added the produce from those properties for export to the USA and Europe until it was wound up to realise the investors capital due to changes in their local tax regimes. Since then I had a brief involvement with further software development during the dot com era before moving on to assisting regional based businesses, in Australia, and others in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada and USA, with marketing and business development services. I have chosen to primarily focus on supporting regional businesses in Australia following the sale of my interests in various overseas businesses.
